14th Annual Great Lakes Collegiate Football Officiating Clinic
Location: Michigan State University - East Lansing, MI
Session: April 8-9-10, 2010

This is our 14th annual clinic and we expect to have improved on the successful format of last year. The Clinic will begin with registration from 10 AM - 12 Noon, followed by a lunch. Opening remarks will be at 1:30 pm. A dinner meal on Thursday will be included as well.

By starting the clinic on Thursday afternoon we have added the needed time to enhance your classroom experience. The clinic is divided into three stages. First we will have several breakout sessions regarding collegiate rules and how they relate to the running, passing and kicking games. Participants will attend each of these sessions. Secondly, we will address mechanics by breaking into 5 groups: Line of scrimmage officials (LJ and HL), deep wing officials (FJ, SJ), Back Judges, Umpires, and Referees. Finally, after a pre-game classroom session on Saturday morning, groups of officials will travel to a scrimmage site where they will receive on-field instruction while working one of the spring scrimmages.
