Economical lightweight design (
Regular is 24 oz.) for the entry-level baseball umpire or the fastpitch softball umpire. Closed cell foam ribs are encased in durable grey nylon and mounted on a plastic insert for rigid protecton and comfort. Fully adjustable "Y" back straps and elastic waist strap allow for a custom fit.
Feel free to wash the protector with mild soap and water because all components are water resistant! High-impact plastic fasteners and buckles reduce weight and prevent rust.
